雨粒は町のかけら。 The raindrops are fragments of the town. * MIXFITS展の出展作品です。 ぐるぐるしたものを描く「GURU GURU」シリーズの絵です。 実際のキャンバスでは、2種類のニスを重ね塗りしたのち中粘度のレジンを全体に塗布、硬化後に低粘度のコーティングレジンで雨垂れと雨粒を手書きして仕上げました。 雨粒を実物よりも丸く描いたのは、レジンの粘度による物理的な理由に加え、ビルの角張った形との対比によって自然の循環を表したかったからです。 キャンバス裏面にタイトル・キャプション・署名の記載あり。 プリミティブな表現のため、敢えて側面張り・額装なしにしました。 This work is exhibited at a MIXFITS exhibition. This is a piece from the "GURU GURU" series featuring swirling motifs. On the actual canvas, two coats of varnish were applied, followed by an overall application of medium-viscosity resin. After curing, raindrops and rain streaks were hand-drawn using low-viscosity coating resin. The raindrops are depicted rounder than in reality — partly due to the physical properties of the resin's viscosity, and partly to contrast with the angular lines of the buildings and express the cycle of nature. Title, caption, and signature are noted on the back of the canvas. The canvas was intentionally left as a gallery wrap without a frame, to complement its primitive expression. Due to creative reasons, I am a recluse who does not appear in public, so I won't be able to attend the exhibition in person. However, thanks to the organizers who kindly accepted me despite this, my participation has been made possible. Guest participants, like the core members, are given creative freedom in their work, so I'm currently developing my concept.
